Lalit Modi lays down 7-step framework to make Rajasthan the best cricket association

Lalit Modi has been reinstated as President of Rajasthan Cricket

Former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi will return to working as President of the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) after BJP leader Amin Pathan, the acting head of the association for the last nine months, withdrew his no-confidence motion against him "in the interest of cricket in Rajasthan".

"I once again look forward to making #RCA the best and most forward thinking," Modi tweeted soon after the motion was withdrawn.

However, the RCA will continue to remain suspended.

In 2013, Modi was expelled from the BCCI and banned for life on charges of indiscipline and misconduct. In May last year, the BCCI had suspended the RCA minutes after Modi was elected its president. Cricket in the state has been suffering since then, with high profile players like Robin Bist defecting to other teams in the interest of their careers.

This was one of the reasons his rival laid down as to why he was withdrawing his motion, another being that cricket in the state was at an all-time low because of the ongoing conflict.

Lalit Modi has laid down a 7-point plan on Twitter to return Rajasthan cricket to its glory days:
