Latest ICC ODI Rankings for bowlers: Remodeled Sunil Narine reigns supreme
West Indies off-spinner Sunil Narine has retained his top spot in the latest ICC cricket ODI bowlers rankings after impressing in the recently completed tri-series. He leads New Zealand seamer Trent Boult by 28 rating points in a list which is dominated by the quicker men.
Though right-armer Josh Hazlewood made the most strides by vaulting 20 spots to reach a career best ranking of 15th, Mitchell Starc continues to be the highest ranked Australian at five. In fact, he is the only bowler from the number one ranked team to feature in the top ten.
Having successfully made a comeback after undergoing an ankle surgery, Starc still remains in contention to break the record for fastest to 100 ODI wickets. The 26-year old needs two more scalps in his next match to eclipse Saqlain Mushtaq‘s feat.

Despite being the leading wicket-keeper in the Caribbean series with 13 dismissals from six games, South African leg-spinner Imran Tahir has dropped one spot to 4th. He trails the third-placed Shakib Al Hasan by six rating points.
Having opted out of the World T20 following question marks around his bowling arm, Narine has come back strongly with a refurbished action. Meanwhile, the Proteas have the most bowlers in the top ten with Kagiso Rabada, Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel joining Tahir.
No Indian bowler finds a place as Ravichandran Ashwin is the best ranked at 11th. Pakistan’s Mohammad Irfan rounds off the list at 616 rating points which is just ten more than Ashwin’s.
