Sri Lankan wicketkeeper-batsman Kumar Sangakkara leads the list of players who have scored the most number of runs in One Day International cricket in 2014, and he is followed by Indian stalwart Virat Kohli, who is 79 runs behind the former Lankan captain but with a far better average. 

England wicketkeeper Jos Buttler, who is making a mark in the cricketing world with his unique array of shots, Sri Lankan captain Angelo Mathews and New Zealand No. 3 Kane Williamson complete the list.
