Manoj Tiwary to lead India A against West Indies

Chennai, Sep 22 (IANS) Middle-order batsman Manoj Tiwary will captain India A for two practice one-day games against the West Indies to be played in Mumbai.

The first practice game will be held at the Brabourne Stadium on October 3 and the second at Wankhede Staidum on October 5, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Sanjay Patel said in a stament on Monday.

BCCI's All-India Senior Selection Committee included youngsters Unmukt Chand and Sanju Samson in the squad, while pacer Dhawal Kulkarni, who played just one one-day match in England, would look to stake a claim in the senior side.

The games will serve as a build-up for the five-match One-Day International (ODI) series to be played October 8, 11, 14, 17 and 20.

The squad: Manoj Tiwary (captain), Unmukt Chand, Murali Vijay, Karun Nair, Kedar Jadhav, Sanju Samson, Stuart Binny, Parvez Rasool, Amit Mishra, Jasprit Bumrah, Dhawal Kulkarni, Rahul Shukla, Karn Sharma, Gurkeerat Singh Maan.
