Mayanti Langer has the perfect reply to Stuart Binny's Twitter trolls

Binny pulled off an incredible catch for RCB

Stuart Binny has had an inconsistent career ever since he came into the spotlight with IPL team Rajasthan Royals under the tutelage of legendary Australian leg-spinner, Shane Warne. He has had an unimpressive stint with the Indian cricket team apart from one match where he took 6 wickets, helping India defend a total of 105 against Bangladesh.

The son of former India cricketer Roger Binny, Stuart has jumped IPL teams from Rajasthan Royals to Mumbai Indians and now plays for the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Stuart Binny has often been subjected to trolling by Indian cricket fans for his fitness and performances for his teams. The 31-year-old is married to popular IPL anchor Mayanti Langer who saved him from some trolling the all-rounder received after taking a sensational catch on the boundary line for RCB against former team Mumbai Indians.

Binny was subjected to some undeserved trolling when he was mocked by a Twitter user following his spectacular catch. His wife, Mayanti Langer stepped in to defend her husband with a fitting reply.

Binny had originally been mocked for his weight issues but has since become much fitter, which has resulted in much better performances from him.

The all-rounder was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2016 IPL auctions, giving him an opportunity to play in the familiar surroundings of the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, having led the Karnataka Ranji Trophy team.

Stuart Binny has had a forgetful season in this year’s IPL having scored only 17 runs from the ten matches he has played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. He has also picked up only one wicket in this season’s IPL. The acrobatic catch taken against the Mumbai Indians remains the highlight of his season and hopefully, could lead to better performances by the Indian cricketer.
