Dwayne Bravo's World T20 image wins Wisden Cricket Photo of the Year 2014
The image of Dwayne Bravo (West Indies) taking an acrobatic full-length diving catch during ICC World Twenty20 Bangladesh 2014 won the award for 2014 MCC – Wisden Photo of the Year. In the photo, the Caribbean star catches James Faulkner of Australia off the bowling of Krishmar Santokie at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur.
Bravo’s mid-air movement was captured by a photographer named Matthew Lewis.

Chris Smith (former Chief Sports Photographer of The Sunday Times) chaired the judging panel along with world-famous cricket photographer Patrick Eager and award-winning sports photographer Bob Thomas. More than 400 entries of amateur and professional photographers from around the world were judged in the competition.
Last year, the image of Sachin Tendulkar coming out to bat for the last time in the second Test match against the West Indies at the Wankhede Stadium in November 2013 was the winner. It was photographed by Mid-Day media photographer Atul Kamble.
The contest was open to everyone this year and was sponsored by JPMorgan.
