Michael Vaughan leads outrage after England's loss against the Netherlands
Various celebrities took to Twitter to express their disgust at England’s loss against the Netherlands at the ICC World T20 in Bangladesh yesterday.
Former ENglish captain Michael Vaughan labelled the performance as “garbage”, while former CNN host Piers Morgan continued his campaign against ECB for dropping charismatic batsman Kevin Pietersen.
Vaughan also suggested the ECB to offer former India and South Africa coach Gary Kirsten a contract that he cannot refuse.
Sportspersons from other fields like golfer Lee Westwood and former footballer Gary Lineker also expressed their shock at the loss. While Westwood took a sarcastic dig at ECB for sacking Pietersen, Lineker was taken aback by the result.
