Mohammad Azharuddin denies third marriage reports
Former Indian cricket team captain Mohammad Azharuddin denied reports that he has married for the third time. The denial came after reports that Azhar married his friend Shannon Marie, who is an American citizen. He tweeted

According to a report, Azhar introduced Shannon as his wife when they attenteded the funeral of his driver Jaan Mohammed in Mumbai on Saturday. The 52-year old was spotted with Shannon during an IPTL match featuring the Indian Aces and Philippine Mavericks in New Delhi.
The Hyderabad born cricketer, who played 99 Test and 334 ODIs was one of India’s most successful captains.His personal life have always been a major talking point in media. He first married Naureen, with whom he had two sons. In 1996, he divorced her to marry model turned actress Sangeeta Bijlani. The couple is believed to have separated in 2010.
The stylish right hand batsman quickly gained international fame by hitting three concecutive centuries in the first three matches he played in 1985. Azhar was the captain of the Indian team for most of the 1990s. As a captain he won 90 ODIs and 14 Test matches for India. His career ended in disgrace in 2000 when he was banned for life from playing the game for his involvement in match fixing. Though the court lifted the ban in 2012, his career was already over.
The wristy batsman has scored 6215 runs in 99 Test matches with an average of 45.03, he also scored 22 Test centuries. In 334 ODI appearance he has scored 9378 runs at an average of 36.92.
