Salary

MS Dhoni is a grade A player according to BCCI Central Contracts in 2016. According to the contract Mahi earns Rs.1 crore annually as his fixed retainer fee and Rs. 5 lakh, Rs.3 lakh and Rs. 1.5 lakh for playing a Test match, an ODI match and a T20 match respectively. Besides that individual and team bonuses are also given on the basis of individual and team performances.

In all, he roughly earns 3.5millions USD (22 crores) annually from salary alone.
