Mumbai to host Ranji Trophy final; semi-finals to be held in Bengaluru and Kolkata
Mumbai, Feb 10: Mumbai will host the final of the Ranji Trophy from March 8 to March 12. The semi-finals of the country's top-tier domestic cricket tournament will be played in Bengaluru and Kolkata from February 25 to March 1, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Sanjay Patel said in a statement Tuesday.
Following the end of the league phase, the quarter-finals will be played Feb 16-20 at Indore, Cuttack, Jaipur and Lahli. The Karnataka vs Assam last eight match will be played in Indore, Delhi vs Mumbai in Cuttack, Vidarbha vs Tamil Nadu in Jaipur and Andhra vs Maharashtra at Lahli in Haryana.
The winners of Karnataka vs Assam and Delhi vs Mumbai will play the semi-final at Bengaluru while the victors of Vidarbha vs Tamil Nadu and Andhra vs Maharashtra will take on each other in the other last-four match in Kolkata.
