Mzansi Super League 2019, Tshwane Spartans vs Paarl Rocks - 3 in-form players to watch out for
The fourth week of the Mzansi Super League 2019 carries on as we move towards the business end of the tournament. Two teams in the race for finishing atop the league standings - Tshwane Spartans and Paarl Rocks will lock horns tonight at the SuperSport Park in Centurion.
Tshwane Spartans had emerged victorious over the Paarl Rocks when the sides met last time in the league. However, since that match, the Paarl Rocks have been in tremendous form winning all their games and reaching the top of the league standings after their recent win over former leaders Nelson Mandela Bay Giants.
The Rocks will aim to get a win and improve upon their lead at the top of the table whereas the Spartans will be gunning for a big win and possibly overthrow the Rocks to reach the top of the league standings. This makes it a high stakes game for both the teams with lots to play for.

We take a look at three players whose performance on the pitch may play a role in determining the result of the match.
#3 Morne Morkel (Tshwane Spartans)
Morne Morkel has been the most in-form bowler for the Tshwane Spartans and will lead the bowling attack for them. He picked up three wickets giving away just 21 runs against the Jozi Stars in a winning effort.
The lanky pacer uses the bounce of the pitch well and produces deadly deliveries to trouble the opposition batsman. He will aim to keep his form going and produce a match-winning spell for the Spartans.
#2 James Vince (Paarl Rocks)
James Vince started the MSL 2019 season with a bang scoring 86 not out but his innings went in vain as the team lost against the Tshwane Spartans.
Vince has led the charge for the Rocks' batting lineup and consistently scored to get them off to a good start in the innings. His form will be crucial for the Rocks to keep their spot at the top of the table.
#1 Dean Elgar (Tshwane Spartans)
After an ominous start to his MSL 2019 campaign with a duck against the Nelson Mandela Bay Giants, the left-handed batsman Dean Elgar managed to get on track with a stunning 88 not out to lead the Spartans to win over the Paarl Rocks.
Elgar has been consistent with his performances for the Spartans and has scored two fifties so far in four matches played. He has scored a total of 163 runs at a healthy strike rate of 147.73
A lot will depend on his batting as the Spartans will aim to tackle the sturdy bowling lineup of the Paarl Rocks.
