Narendra Modi and Sachin Tendulkar likely to attend Yuvraj Singh's wedding, father Yograj to give it a miss

Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech to tie the knot on December 30

Yuvraj Singh is about to tie his knot with British-Mauritian actress Hazel Keech on November 30 and they have left no stones unturned to make the wedding a grand affair. Former cricketers along with personalities of other spheres are invited for the auspicious occasion.

Two of the biggest names among them are Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and are likely to attend the gathering. The ceremony is scheduled to be held at a gurudwara in Punjab’s Fatehgarh Sahib. Another shocking fact is that Yuvraj's father Yograj, who is also a former International cricketer, will not attend the wedding as he is opposed to it for being solemnised by a ‘dera’ leader.

As told by a family friend to The New Indian Express, the wedding ceremony would be attended by 50 people, which includes family members and very close friends. Yuvraj Singh mother’s religious mentor Sant Ajit Singh Hansaliwale will bless the couple at the Dera Hansaliwale in Hansali near the wedding place.

A couple of days earlier, the all-rounder personally visited the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi to invite him for the wedding. Much drama had arisen regarding the incident as the name of the honourable Prime Minister was written incorrectly as “Shri Narender Modi Jee.”

The wedding cards distributed among close ones contain sweet boxes with them. Actually, two boxes, one white and the other a brown croc leather box which was designed by ‘The House of Design’ and the sweets were bought from ‘The Sweet Boutique.”

It is also learnt as per reports that the Mehendi and the first reception party will be held at Chandigarh’s Lalit hotel on November 29. "On December 2, Yuvraj and Hazel will wed according to Hindu rituals. This ceremony is set to take place at a farm house in Goa again where limited guests have been invited for a lunch reception,” stated a source.

The date of the ‘Sangeet’ is supposed to be on December 5 and is going to be held at a farmhouse in Chatrapur. A couple of days later, a larger reception party is scheduled to be held at the ITC Maurya in Delhi.
