LJ Rathod is the new Saurashtra Cricket Association president

LJ Rathod has been appointed the new Saurashtra Cricket Association(SCA) president by the governing body on Monday.

Rathod was handed the post after SCA president Bharat Shah, who held the post for more than 17 years, resigned nearly a week ago.

SCA media manager Himanshu Shah said : “Rathod has been with SCA since several years and has been serving as Honorary Treasurer since several years,”  in a press release issued on Monday.

“After Rathod’s appointment as president, he vacated the post of honorary treasurer. The SCA’s governing body has appointed Nitin Raichura as honorary treasurer,” the release said.
