After day one was washed out to rain at Christchurch, Pakistan began day two on a disastrous note as they got bowled out for 133. A 30-year old Harare-born fast-bowler, Colin de Grandhomme, took 6 for 41 on debut for the Kiwis. In their reply, New Zealand ended day two at 104 for the loss of 3 wickets. Another debutant Jeet Raval is batting unbeaten on 55 and has Henry Nicolls at the other end batting on 29.
