New Zealand vs India 2014: NZ XI declare at 262/9 in warm-up match
New Zealand XI declared their first innings at 262 for the loss of nine wickets with and Ronald Badenhorst on 34 and Iain McPeak on 16 remaining unbeaten on the crease.
Ishwar Pandey picked 3 and Ravichandran Ashwin took two wickets for India. Zaheer khan, Umesh Yadav and Ishant sharma picked one wicket each.
Earlier, Rohit Sharma, captaining this Indian side without MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Mohammed Shami, won the toss and elected to field. Ambati Rayudu, Wriddhiman Saha and Umesh Yadav have been selected.
New Zealand XI batsman Robert O’Donnell was the top scorer, with 80 runs earlier in the day.
