"0% attitude": Fan shares heartwarming details of interaction with Virat Kohli

A fan has shared details of his interaction with Virat Kohli on the sidelines of Team India's training camp in Chennai. Stating that he managed to converse with the batting star for seven minutes, the fan described Kohli as someone with zero percent attitude.

The members of the Indian cricket team picked for the first Test against Bangladesh are in Chennai to prepare for the five-day game, which begins at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Thursday, September 19. Kohli joined the camp directly from London and is said to have batted for nearly 45 minutes at the nets.

One of the fans, Touseef Ahmed (as per his Instagram handle), shared a story on his heartwarming interaction with Kohli. A screenshot of the same was posted on X by cricket content aggregator Mufaddal Vohra. In the post, the fan writes that Kohli asked him and his friend to wait 15-20 minutes for a picture and returned to fulfill his word.

Ahmed added that Kohli even took them inside the Indian dressing room since the weather outside was too hot. The fan concluded his post by hailing the former India captain as someone with a zero percent attitude.


Virat Kohli had a disappointing tour of Sri Lanka

While Kohli was not part of the T20Is in Sri Lanka since he retired from the format, he did feature in the subsequent three-match one-day series. The 35-year-old had a poor series with the bat as India went down 2-0.

The right-handed batter was dismissed for 24 off 32 balls in the first match played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. He was trapped lbw by a slider from Wanindu Hasaranga. The game ended in a tie as India were bowled out for 230 in a chase of 231.

In the second match of the series, Kohli was dismissed for 14 off 19 balls. This time, he was trapped leg before by a leg-break from Jeffrey Vandersay that beat his inside edge. The Men in Blue went on to lose this game by 32 runs. They were bowled out for 208 in a chase of 241.

Kohli's series ended on a disappointing note as he was dismissed for 20 off 18 in the third and final ODI. The No. 3 batter fell lbw for the third time in the series, trapped in front by a slider from Dunith Wellalage. Team India lost the match by a big margin of 110 runs.
