Sachin Tendulkar entered the restaurant business by partnering with an ex-employee of Ratan Tata

Apart from his cricketing and broadcasting commitments, Sachin Tendulkar has also been at the forefront of multiple businesses. Interestingly, an ex-employee of Ratan Tata helped the ace batter in one such venture.

Sachin Narang, who previously worked with Tata's Taj Group of Hotels as the head of air catering, helped Tendulkar start his chain of restaurants in Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Narang, a close friend of Tendulkar, set up the restaurants through the Mars Hospitality Group. His sister, Rachna Narang, is in charge of designing the hotels that are opened by the group.

It is worth mentioning that she had also earlier set up a bakery in a joint venture with Taj Group of Hotels before joining Mars Hospitality Group.
