Mumbai-born USA left-arm pacer Saurabh Netravalkar, who impressed many during the 2024 T20 World Cup, is among the 1,574 players registered for the IPL 2025 player auction. The long list will be trimmed once the tournament organizers receive feedback from the 10 franchises.
Of the players who have signed up for the mega auction, 1,165 are from India while 409 are overseas cricketers. The long list includes 320 capped players, 1,224 uncapped players, and 30 cricketers from Associate Nations.
Netravalkar is among 10 players from the United States to have registered for the IPL 2025 mega auction. The 33-year-old has listed his base price as ₹30 lakh, as per PTI. Based on his 2024 T20 World Cup exploits, some franchises might be keen on acquiring his services. The left-arm pacer claimed six wickets in six matches at an average of 20.83 and a strike rate of 18.8.
The cricketer, a member of the technical staff at Oracle, was Player of the Match in USA's historic win over Pakistan in the Group A match in Dallas. He picked up 2-18 in his four overs, getting the scalps of Mohammad Rizwan and Iftikhar Ahmed. Netravalkar also bowled the Super Over and conceded only 13 runs, with Pakistan needing 19 for victory.

The USA pacer has featured in 36 T20Is and has claimed 36 wickets at an average of 21.58 and an economy rate of 6.70. His best of 5-12 came against Singapore in Bulawayo in 2022 in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifier.
In his overall T20 career, he has played 43 matches, picking up 51 wickets at an average of 19.19 and an economy rate of 6.88.
Looking at his one-day record, the Mumbai-born pacer has played 56 matches and has claimed 88 wickets at an average of 22.32 and an economy rate of 4.08, with two five-fers and two four-wicket hauls. His best of 5-32 was registered against the UAE in Sharjah in 2019 in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2. Netravalkar also claimed 5-45 versus Scotland in May 2022.
