Australia were terrific in the group stage of the ICC Men's 2024 T20 World Cup. They played four matches in Group B and won all four, finishing with eight points and a net run rate of +2.791. By virtue of their brilliant performances, they topped Group B and confirmed their berth in the Super 8 round of the tournament.
The Aussies began their 2024 T20 World Cup campaign with a 39-run win over Oman at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. In their second match at the same venue, Australia got the better of England by 36 runs at the same venue.
Mitchell Marsh and co. then hammered Namibia by nine wickets at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua. In their last group match against Scotland at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia, they overcame some stubborn resistance to win the contest by five wickets.
Australia's full Super 8 schedule for T20 World Cup 2024
Australia have been placed in Group 1 for the Super 8 round of the 2024 T20 World Cup. They will begin their campaign in the Super 8 stage with a match against Bangladesh at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua on June 21.
Australia's second match will be against Afghanistan at Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown, St Vincent on June 23. They will conclude their Super 8 campaign in Group 1 with a big game against India at Gros Islet in St Lucia on June 24 in what would be a rematch of the 2023 ODI World Cup final.

Australia are the reigning ODI and Test world champions. If they lift the T20 World Cup as well, they would become the reigning champions in all three formats of international cricket.
Coming back to the Super 8 round, the top two sides from the two groups - Group 1 and Group 2 - will progress to the semifinals of the 2024 T20 World Cup. The semifinals will be played in Trinidad and Guyana on June 27, while the final will be held in Barbados on June 29.
