Bangladesh players frustrated over slow internet connection amid their Test tour of Pakistan: Report

Bangladesh cricket players have reportedly expressed grievance about slow internet connection during their ongoing Pakistan tour. According to a local media report via Cricket Pakiston, players are frustrated over being unable to maintain contact with their respective families back home amid tensions in the country.

The tensions in the sub-continent country over the past two weeks have escalated, as student protests have culminated in arson and violence, with former cricket team captain Mashrafe Mortaza's house also set on fire. The circumstances in the country have forced former Prime Minister Sheikh Haseena to flee the country. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hassan Papon's wherebaouts are not known either.

The Internet Service Providers (ISP) Association has reported a 30 to 40 percent reduction in speed across the country. Additional reports have indicated that social media platforms have slowed down because of the government's experiment with the implementation of windfall.

Nevertheless, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) reportedly revealed that the BCB hasn't reported about receiving any complaints from the visitors.
