Mujeeb Ur Rahman played the shot to good effect a couple of times in the same over. His heroics went a long way in helping the Brisbane Heat come back into the contest, which they eventually lost by two runs.
However, Glenn Maxwell didn't miss the opportunity to talk about his KXIP teammate's batting. Taking to Twitter, Maxwell wrote:
" I didn't do much this last IPL, but I'm pretty sure I taught Mujeeb how to play that reverse sweep #yourewelcomeheat"
Mujeeb ended up getting 18 off 10 balls before he was dismissed off Peter Siddle's bowling. Heat skipper Jimmy Pierson played a blinder, scoring 69* off 36 balls, but his efforts eventually fell in vain.
