"Being Babar Azam Isn't Easy" - Top 10 funny memes after Pakistan's thumping 0-3 clean sweep T20I series loss vs Australia 2024

Australia registered a dominant seven-wicket win against Pakistan in the third T20I on Monday (November 18) at the Bellerive Oval, Hobart. As a result, the hosts white-washed the Men in Green in the three-match T20I series. Vice-captain Agha Salman led the visiting team in the final match, as captain Mohammad Rizwan was rested.

After opting to bat first, Pakistan's batting unit struggled miserably and got bundled out for 117 in 18.1 overs. Opener Babar Azam gave them a decent start with an enterprising knock of 41 (28), taking his side to 61/1 in the seventh over.

However, things went downhill for the visiting team after that, as Aaron Hardie (3/21) and Adam Zampa (2/11) triggered a collapse with brilliant spells. Marcus Stoinis then made light work of the target with a blazing 61* (27) to power Australia home in just 11.2 overs.

Fans enjoyed the one-sided T20I game between Australia and Pakistan on Monday. They expressed their reactions to the contest by sharing memes on Instagram and X (formerly known as Twitter).

"Hopefully I can continue doing that"- Australia pacer Spencer Johnson after winning 'Player of the Series' award in T20I series vs Pakistan 2024

At the post-match presentation, Australian left-arm pacer Spencer Johnson received the 'Player of the Series' award. He played an instrumental role in Australia's success in the series by scalping eight wickets across three games. Reflecting on his performances, Johnson said:

"I wasn't really expecting this. Nice to back in green and gold and win the series. Obviously every opportunity playing for Australia is a good one and hopefully I can continue doing that. It was a pretty nice wicket. Babar played some great shots up front but our bowlers did a great job."

Pakistan's stand-in captain Agha Salman also shed light on the mistakes committed by his team after the match, saying:

"We didn't capitalise in the middle overs which put us in that situation. Lot of positives. The way Irfan batted and the way Jahandad bowled was great. Winning ODI series here after 22 years was simply phenomenal but we could have done better in the T20 series but hopefully, we will come back stronger."
