“Bill kon pay kru?” - Arshdeep Singh chills out with Umran Malik in Bengaluru’s UB City during SMAT 2024
Team India cricketers Arshdeep Singh and Umran Malik were recently spotted spending quality time in Bengaluru. While Arshdeep is in the city to play in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024-25, Umran is undergoing rehab at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
Arshdeep and Umran recently visited a restaurant in Bengaluru's UB City and shared pictures from their outing. The left-arm pacer from Punjab also shared a funny caption with the image.
"Bill kon pay kru🤔?" Arshdeep wrote.
Arshdeep Singh looked dapper in a white T-shirt and denim jeans, while Umran Malik went all black for the night out. The post has been liked by more than 1.5 lakh fans and has been shared multiple times across social media platforms.
Arshdeep was last seen in action for Team India during the South Africa series last month. Punjab Kings (PBKS), who released him ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction, bought him back at the auction using the RTM for ₹18 crore.
Umran Malik, meanwhile, was released by the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) before the auction. He went unsold in the first few rounds of the auction before the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) swooped him in the accelerated rounds for his base price of ₹75 lakh.
How have Arshdeep Singh and Umran Malik performed for India?
Once touted as a generational talent for express pace, the Jammu & Kashmir-born Umran Malik has slowly faded away due to a series of injuries and inconsistency. Since his debut in 2022, the tearaway pacer has represented the Men in Blue in 10 ODIs and eight T20Is, picking up a combined 24 wickets.
Arshdeep, on the other hand, has gone on to become India's mainstay in the shortest format. He has donned the Indian jersey in 60 T20Is, picking up 95 wickets at an average of 18.10. He is ninth in the ICC Men's Ranking for Bowlers in T20Is.
