"Can't even play in this flat wicket" - Fans react as Smriti Mandhana flops again in IND-W vs AUS-W 2nd ODI
India vice-captain Smriti Mandhana failed to deliver with the bat again in the second ODI against Australia in Brisbane on Sunday, December 8. The left-handed batter departed for just nine runs off eight deliveries, cleaned up by Kim Garth. She previously scored eight runs off 10 balls in the first ODI, where India lost to Australia by five wickets.
Mandhana had failed twice against New Zealand in the previous series before scoring a ton. She will be keen to bounce back in the third ODI in Perth on December 11.
Fans on X were disappointed with Smriti Mandhana's failure while chasing 372. One user wrote:

Centuries from Ellyse Perry and Georgia Voll helped Australia post 371/8 against India in the second ODI.
Perry smashed 105 runs off 75 balls, including six maximums and seven boundaries. Playing only her second ODI, Voll smacked 101 off 87 deliveries, comprising 12 boundaries. Phoebe Litchfield and Beth Mooney also chipped in with 60 (63) and 56 (44), respectively.
Saima Thakor starred with the ball for the Women in Blue, picking up three wickets. Minnu Mani bagged two wickets but proved expensive.
At the time of writing, the tourists were 41/1 after 9.3 overs, with Richa Ghosh and Harleen Deol at the crease following Smriti Mandhana's dismissal.
Tahlia McGrath-led Australia are leading the three-match ODI series 1-0 following their five-wicket win in the series opener. Megan Schutt starred with the ball, returning with a five-wicket haul as the visitors were bundled out for 100.
