When is the next Men's ICC tournament?
Team India won the 2024 T20 World Cup held in the United States and West Indies earlier this year, beating South Africa in a thrilling final. The next Men's ICC event will be the 2025 Champions Trophy.
The tournament is scheduled to be held in Pakistan in February-March next year. However, there are some concerns over the event since India have not confirmed their participation yet. The Men in Blue have not visited Pakistan since 2008 due to strained political relations between the two nations.
India also did not go to Pakistan for the Asia Cup last year. They played all their matches in Sri Lanka. However, Pakistan did visit India for the 2023 ODI World Cup. There are reports that India might play their 2025 Champions Trophy matches at a venue outside Pakistan. Some reports claim that the entire event might be shifted out of the Asian country.
