"Fancy a loan move" - Bengaluru FC comes up with a cheeky reply to KL Rahul’s post displaying his football skills during Perth Test
Indian Super League team Bengaluru FC (BFC) teased Team India's batting star KL Rahul by presenting an offer of joining the team on a loan move. This comes after the 32-year-old posted a video of him juggling the red ball during the Perth Test.
Rahul was seen performing some tricks with the ball at his feet during Australia's second innings of the Perth Test. He juggled a bit with the ball, collected it cleanly and then threw the ball across to the other end.
Rahul has often been seeing performing tricks on the field, with many videos of him doing so doing the rounds on previous occasions as well. This time around, Rahul took his official account on Instagram and uploaded a video of the same, tagging Parth Jindal and BFC with the following caption:
"@parthjindal got an opening at @bengalurufc?"
BFC took to their official account on X, posted the video and replied with the following caption:
"Fancy a loan move, @klrahul ? 🔥 Sent you a fax, @delhicapitals. 📠 We’ll have him back before the #IPL! 😉"

"I have never won it, Delhi has never won. Let's do it together" - Parth Jindal opens up on chat with KL Rahul after IPL 2025 auction
After acquiring KL Rahul in the IPL auction, Parth Jindal had a conversation with the 32-year-old and opened up on the chat he had with him.
He said (via ESPNCricinfo):
"He's very happy, very excited to be part of Delhi. He knows me for a long time. He's a Bangalore (Bengaluru) boy. I own Bengaluru FC (in the Indian Super League), so he's watched a few games with me. I know his wife Athiya (Shetty) really well. She's been a close family friend growing up in Mumbai. "
"So he (Rahul) was like, "I just want to play cricket. I just want to get the love and support from the franchise. I just want to get the respect and I know Parth from you, I will get that and just can't be more excited to play for a friend and let's make Delhi win. I have never won (IPL). Delhi has never won. Let's do it together," he added.
KL Rahul is currently with the Indian Test team in Australia and is expected to be in action in the two day warmup game against Australian Prime Ministers XI at Manuka Oval in Canberra from November 30.
