Full list of Central Delhi Kings players for Delhi Premier League 2024 ft. Yash Dhull & Prince Choudhary
The Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) has announced the first season of the Delhi Premier League 2024, scheduled from August 17 to September 8, 2024. The T20 tournament will feature 33 men's and seven women's matches, all at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
The upcoming league includes Delhi’s six zone-based franchise teams: Central Delhi Kings (Central Delhi), North Delhi Strikers (North Delhi), East Delhi Riders (East Delhi), West Delhi Lions (West Delhi), Purani Delhi (Old Delhi), and South Delhi Superstarz (South Delhi).
The Central Delhi Kings, representing the Central Delhi Zone, are owned by Utech Developers Pvt. Ltd. for Rs. 8.25 crore, making it the third-highest valued team among the six.
The Kings have acquired the services of the former India Under-19 captain Yash Dhull, who has also represented the Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League. Similarly, the right-arm leg spinner, Prince Choudhary, who Punjab Kings picked in the 2024 IPL auction, is also included in Central Delhi’s squad.
Lakshay Thareja and Kaushal Suman are the wicket-keeper options while domestic recruits including Hiten Dalal, Aryan Rana, and Dipesh Balyan will contribute to the batting department. Yogesh Sharma, Money Grewal, Shaurya Malik, and Rajneesh Dadar will be a part of the bowling department.
The Central Delhi-based side also boasts a group of quality all-rounders namely, Jonty Sindu, Keshav Dabas, Saurav Dagar, Siddhant Bansal, Dhruv Kaushik, Sumit Kumar, Ajay Gulia, Harish Dagar, and Vishant Bhati.
Central Delhi Kings will go up against East Delhi Riders in the second match of Delhi Premier League 2024 on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
