Full list of Indian players with ₹2 crore base price for IPL 2025 auction
The final player list for the IPL 2025 auction was announced by the BCCI on Friday, November 15. The long list of 1,574 players was pruned down following feedback from franchises. A total of 574 players are set to be part of the mega auction, which will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25.
Of the 574 players, 366 are Indian and 208 are overseas, of which three are from associate nations. The IPL 2025 mega auction final list includes 318 uncapped Indian players and 12 uncapped overseas cricketers. On the other hand, there are 48 capped Indian players and 193 capped overseas players on the list.
Following retentions, a total of 204 slots can be filled up at the IPL 2025 mega auction, with 70 slots available for overseas cricketers. ₹2 crore is the highest reserve price for the two-day auction.
Indian players with reserve price of ₹2 crore for IPL auction 2025
A total of 81 players have registered for the IPL 2025 auction at the highest base price of ₹2 crore, with 23 of them being Indian players. Former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Shreyas Iyer, who led the franchise to victory in the 2024 season, is one of the prominent names on the list.
Former Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain KL Rahul and former Delhi Capitals (DC) skipper Rishabh Pant were also released by their respective franchises. Both have also listed their base price at ₹2 crore and are likely to be in high demand during the auction in Jeddah.
Left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh has been one of the top performers for Punjab Kings (PBKS) over the last few seasons. He too was released by the franchise that retained only two players. Subsequently, Arshdeep registered for the auction at the highest reserve price of ₹2 crore.
Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammad Shami, Mohammad Siraj, Ravichandaran Ashwin, Ishan Kishan and Washington Sundar are some of the other big Indian names who are part of the ₹2 crore price bracket.
