Full list of New Zealand players in IPL 2025 auction
With the IPL 2025 auction just days away, the excitement is building up. The BCCI recently released the final list of players who will be part of the mega auction set to take place over two days in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on November 24 and 25.
From the long list of 1,574 names, 574 players have been shortlisted for the auction. The shortlist features 366 Indian players and 208 overseas cricketers, with three being from Associate nations. There are 318 uncapped Indian players and 12 uncapped overseas players on the list, including 48 capped Indian cricketers and 193 capped overseas cricketers.
Last month, all the IPL franchises confirmed their retention list, following which 204 slots are up for grabs at the IPL 2025 mega auction, with 70 slots available for overseas players. If we talk about price brackets, players have listed their names in eight categories ranging from ₹30 lakh to ₹2 crore.
New Zealand cricketers in IPL 2025 mega auction and their base price
A total of 24 players from New Zealand have been shortlisted for the IPL 2025 auction in Jeddah. Several prominent Kiwi names have listed the highest base price of ₹2 crore. This list includes Devon Conway, Trent Boult, Glenn Phillips, Daryl Mitchell, Kane Williamson, Lockie Ferguson, and Matt Henry.
Conway and Mitchell were part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise. The former was, however, ruled out of the IPL 2024 season due to an injury. As for Mitchell, he played 13 matches and scored 318 runs at an average of 28.91 and a strike rate of 142.60, with two half-centuries.
Left-arm pacer Boult was released by Rajasthan Royals (RR) despite picking up 16 wickets in 16 matches, while Phillips represented SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in 2023. Also, Rachin Ravindra and Tom Latham, who played key roles in New Zealand's historic 3-0 Test triumph in India, have listed a base price of ₹1.5 crore.

All 10 IPL franchises have been given a purse of ₹120 crore to put together their squads for the 2025 season. Following retentions, Rajasthan Royals (RR) have the lowest purse left (₹41 crore), while Punjab Kings (PBKS), who retained only two players, have the highest (₹110.5 crore).
