Full list of North Delhi Strikers players for Delhi Premier League 2024 ft. Harshit Rana & Suyash Sharma
The Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) has announced the launch of the Delhi Premier League 2024 first edition, scheduled to run from August 17 to September 8, 2024, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
This T20 tournament will feature 33 matches in the men's category, with six zone-based franchise teams from across Delhi: North Delhi Strikers (North Delhi), West Delhi Lions (West Delhi), East Delhi Riders (East Delhi), Central Delhi Kings (Central Delhi), Purani Delhi (Old Delhi), and South Delhi Superstarz (South Delhi).
The North Delhi Strikers, a franchise based in North Delhi, is owned by Gupta Jee Tent Services Pvt. Ltd., who acquired the team for ₹8.15 crore.
Kolkata Knight Riders bowling stars, right-arm quick Harshit Rana, and leg spinner Suyash Sharma are the marquee players for North Delhi. Vaibhav Kandpal, who has been a part of India Under-19, is added to the squad. Kshitiz Sharma and Vaibhav Rawal, who have formerly represented Chennai Super Kings and KKR, respectively, in the past are also included in the Strikers squad.
Pranav Rajvanshi and Shivam will handle the wicket-keeping duties while Sarthak Ranjan, Vaibhav, and Yash Bhatia will contribute to the batting unit. All-rounders like Pranshu Vijayaran, Vaibhav Kandpal, and Manan Bharadwaj will make contributions to both the batting and bowling departments.
Suyash will lead the spin attack with Anirudh Choudhary, who has been part of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the Punjab Kings, right-arm Offbreak Aman Bharti, and Siddhartha Solanki.
North Delhi Strikers will be up against West Delhi Lions in the third match of Delhi Premier League 2024 on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
