Full list of players with ₹1.25 crore base price for IPL 2025 auction
The IPL 2025 auction will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25. A total of 574 players have been shortlisted to be part of the much-anticipated two-day event. The long list featured 1,574 names, which was cut down based on feedback received from franchises.
Of the 574 players who will feature in the mega auction, 366 are Indians and 208 overseas, of which three are from Associate nations. The list includes 318 uncapped Indian players and 12 uncapped overseas players. Also, there are 48 capped Indian cricketers and 193 capped overseas players who will be part of the IPL 2025 mega auction.
All 10 teams confirmed their retentions last month. Following the same, 204 slots can be filled up at the upcoming mega auction, with 70 slots available for overseas players. ₹2 crore is the highest base price for the IPL 2025 auction and 81 players have registered in this category.
Players with a reserve price of ₹1.25 cr for the IPL auction 2025
A total of 18 players have registered in the base price category of ₹1.25 crore for the IPL 2025 auction. The standout name in the list is England's fast-bowling legend James Anderson. The 42-year-old is the oldest to register for the auction. Amazingly, the pacer has never featured in the IPL and his decision to list his name for the upcoming auction took many fans and critics by surprise.
Marco Jansen, Shai Hope, and Gerald Coetzee are some of the other prominent names who are part of the ₹1.25 crore category for the IPL 2025 mega auction. Jansen represented Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 2024 season, playing only three games. Hope had a mixed season for Delhi Capitals (DC), while fast bowler Coetzee picked up 13 scalps in 10 games for Mumbai Indians (MI).

All the 10 franchises have been given a purse of ₹120 crore for the auction. Following retentions, Rajasthan Royals (RR) have the lowest purse of ₹41 crore left, while Punjab Kings (PBKS) have the highest. They can spend a whopping ₹110.5 crore at the auction.
