Full list of players with ₹1 crore base price for IPL 2025 auction
The BCCI has confirmed the final player list for the IPL 2025 mega auction, which will be held over two days - November 24 and 25 - in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. A long list of 1,574 players has been pruned to 574 ahead of the big auction.
Taking a closer look at the breakdown of players, of the 574 cricketers who will be part of the auction, 366 are Indians, while 208 are overseas, of which three players belong to Associate nations. The final list features 318 uncapped Indian cricketers and 12 uncapped overseas players. Further, there are 48 capped Indian players and 193 capped overseas cricketers who have been picked for the auction.
After 10 IPL franchises released their retention list last month, a total of 204 slots will be up for grabs at the upcoming mega auction, of which 70 slots are for overseas players. Players have listed their names in eight different price brackets - ₹2 crore being the highest and ₹30 lakh being the lowest.
Players with reserve price of ₹1 cr for IPL auction 2025
A total of 23 players have listed a base price of ₹1 crore for the IPL 2025 mega auction. Jitesh Sharma, Rahul Chahar, Mayank Agarwal, Akash Deep and Shahbaz Ahmed are some of the prominent Indian names in the ₹1 crore list.
Keeper-batter Jitesh and leg-spinner Chahar were among the players released by Punjab Kings, who decided to retain only two players ahead of the IPL 2025 auction. Opening batter Agarwal was released by Sunrisers Hyderabad after he failed to make an impact in the last two seasons. Indian pacer Akash Deep represented Royal Challengers Bengaluru from 2022 to 2024.
Alex Carey, Ryan Rickelton, Gulbadin Naib, Lungi Ngidi, Shakib Al Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz are some of the prominent overseas players who have registered for the auction at a base price of ₹1 crore.
