Full list of players with ₹2 crore base price for IPL 2025 auction

The final player list for the IPL 2025 auction, which will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25, was announced by the BCCI recently. The long list of 1,574 players was cut down following feedback from franchises. The short list of players who will be part of the mega auction features 574 names.

Of the 574 players who will feature in the IPL auction, 366 are Indians and 208 overseas, with three of them being from Associate nations. The final list for the two-day event in Jeddah features 318 uncapped Indian players and 12 uncapped overseas cricketers. Also, there are 48 capped Indian players and 193 capped overseas cricketers in the list.

After all 10 franchises confirmed their retentions, a total of 204 slots are up for grabs at the IPL 2025 mega auction, with 70 slots available for overseas players. ₹2 crore has been set as the highest reserve price for the IPL 2025 auction.


Players with reserve price of ₹2 crore for IPL auction 2025

As many as 81 players have registered at the highest base price of ₹2 crore for the upcoming IPL mega auction, with 23 of them being Indian players. Three former captains Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, and KL Rahul have listed the highest reserve price of ₹2 crore.

Shreyas was released by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) despite leading the franchise to victory in IPL 2024, while Pant and Rahul captained the Delhi Capitals (DC) and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) respectively. Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal and Arshdeep Singh are the other prominent Indian names with base price of ₹2 crore for the auction.

Among big overseas names, Jos Buttler, Mitchell Starc, Kagiso Rabada, Liam Livingstone, Harry Brook, Devon Conway, David Warner, Glenn Maxwell, Quinton De Kock and Phil Salt have listed the highest reserve price of ₹2 crore. Starc was purchased by KKR for a record ₹24.75 crore at the IPL 2024 auction, while Buttler was a key member of the Rajasthan Royals (RR) franchise.
