Full list of West Indies players in IPL 2025 auction
The excitement is building towards the IPL 2025 auction, which is just a few days away now. The mega two-day event will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on November 24 and 25. A total of 574 cricketers from across the globe have been picked to be part of the auction from a long list, which featured 1,574 names.
Of the 574 cricketers who have been shortlisted for the auction, 366 are Indian players and 208 overseas, of which three belong to Associate nations. The final IPL 2025 auction list includes 318 uncapped Indian players and 12 uncapped overseas players. There are also 48 capped Indian cricketers and 193 capped overseas cricketers, who are eligible to go under the hammer in Jeddah.
After all 10 IPL franchises announced their retention list last month, 204 slots will be up for grabs at the mega auction, with 70 available slots for overseas players. As many as 81 players have listed the highest base price of ₹2 crore for the auction, with 23 of them being Indian cricketers.

Twenty-two players from the West Indies have been shortlisted for the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah on November 24 and 25. Three players have listed the highest reserve price of ₹2 crore - Evin Lewis, Jason Holder, and Alzarri Joseph.
Lewis and Holder have been part of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in recent IPL seasons, but have tasted mixed success. As for Joseph, the right-arm pacer was purchased by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the 2024 mini-auction for a surprisingly high price of ₹11.50 crore. He ended up playing only three matches for the franchise, claiming one wicket at an economy rate of 11.90.
Among other West Indian players who will feature in the IPL 2025 auction, Rovman Powell, Kyle Mayers, Akeal Hosein, Sherfane Rutherford and Romario Shepherd have listed a reserve price of ₹1.5 crore.

The 10 franchises have been allotted a purse of ₹120 crore to put together their squads for the IPL 2025 season. Looking at the purses remaining for teams after retentions, Punjab Kings have the highest (₹110.5 crore) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) the lowest (₹41 crore).
