Former Indian opening batter Gautam Gambhir's wife Natasha Jain has reacted to her husband's massive career development, the news of which emerged on Tuesday, July 9. The former left-hander was appointed as the new head coach of the Indian team.
Gambhir emerged as the frontrunner to replace Rahul Dravid amid IPL 2024 and his credentials increased manifold after mentoring the Kolkata Knight Riders to the title victory this year. As a result, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah announced on Tuesday that the Delhi-born lad will take charge from the upcoming Sri Lanka tour.
Meanwhile, Natasha shared two stories on her official Instagram account as below:
While the former politician has mentored the Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants in IPL, he is yet to officially coach in professional cricket. Hence, it will be interesting to see if the 42-year-old can continue his good track record with the national team as well.
