GG purse for WPL 2025 Auction

Gujarat will enter the WPL 2025 auction with a remaining purse of ₹4.4 crore. Recent reports suggest that the purse for every franchise has been increased to ₹15 crore this time.

A team can have a maximum of 18 players, including six foreign players on their roster. Following their dismal campaigns in the first two years of the league, Gujarat will look to redeem themselves in the upcoming edition.

Gujarat managed to win just two out of their eight matches in WPL 2024, finishing at the bottom of the points table. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) were the champions of the edition. RCB beat Delhi Capitals (DC) by seven wickets in the summit clash to clinch the coveted trophy.

Gujarat have played a total of 16 games in the tournament's history, in which they have emerged on the victorious side on just four occasions.
