"Great day out with the family in Hyderabad"- SRH captain Pat Cummins and his family enjoy Hyderabadi Biryani

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain Pat Cummins enjoyed a day out with his family in Hyderabad on Friday, April 26. He is currently in the capital city of Telangana state playing in IPL 2024.

Pat Cummins' family members also recently arrived in the city to spend some quality time amidst a busy IPL schedule. On their first tour of India, Cummins took his family out for having the world-famous Hyderabadi Biryani.

The Australian stalwart gave a glimpse of his family outing to fans by sharing a picture on his official Instagram handle. He also opened up that they loved the Biryani and joked that they ate enough for the rest of the week. Pat Cummins posted the following picture and captioned it:

"Great day out with the family in Hyderabad. For their first time in India we had to take them out for a Hyderabadi Biryani, so good! 🍚 🤤 Thanks @southern_mirchi for hosting us, don’t think we’ll need to eat for the rest of the week!"

Pat Cummins-led SRH side suffered a disappointing defeat against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in their last match on Thursday. The Bengaluru side denied the Sunrisers their preferred choice of batting first after winning the toss.

They went on to notch up a decent total of 206/7 to mount a challenge for the hosts in the second innings. With the scoreboard pressure on, SRH's top-order collapsed like a pack of cards while trying to stay true to their ultra-aggressive batsmanship. The Hyderabad side eventually reached only 171/8, losing the match by 35 runs.

"Won't dwell on this too much"- Pat Cummins after SRH's dismal loss against RCB in IPL 2024 clash

At the post-match presentation, SRH skipper Pat Cummins revealed that they won't dwell too much on the loss while reflecting on his team's performance. He said:

"Not an ideal night. We were probably a few over-par with the ball and lost a few wickets throughout the innings. (Bowling first being an issue) Not really. The boys have been going really well. It is T20 cricket, you are not going to win every game."

He added:

"Won't dwell on this too much. (On their aggressive batting approach) I think it is our strongest suit, to be honest. It is not going to work every game. Unfortunately, did not go our way tonight but it is definitely the way to go."

SRH will next face CSK in IPL 2024 on Sunday (April 28) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
