"He also loves to shake his leg" - Arshdeep Singh on doing bhangra with Virat Kohli after T20 World Cup win

One of the heartwarming moments to go viral after India's T20 World Cup win was fast bowler Arshdeep Singh doing the bhangra with star batter Virat Kohli. Bhangra is a traditional dance from the state of Punjab.

Arshdeep opened up on the vibe that had been created by the DJ after India clinched the title and how it spontaneously made him and Kohli groove to the beats.

Speaking to The Indian Express, here's what Arshdeep Singh had to say about dancing with Virat Kohli:

"The bond with Virat bhai has always been great. Same Punjabi culture, he also loves to shake his leg. The DJ was playing a perfect song (I can’t remember it now), the timing was perfect and we started doing bhangra."

Arshdeep Singh also shed light on how surprised he was to see Jasprit Bumrah emotional after the T20 World Cup win. He claimed that Bumrah wasn't someone who usually showed his emotions but was delighted to see the star speedster let it all out after the triumph.

Arshdeep Singh on Jasprit Bumrah's love for Test cricket

While Jasprit Bumrah has been sensational in T20 cricket, Arshdeep Singh highlighted just how much the former likes to talk about Test cricket. The left-arm pacer claimed that he has got a lot of red-ball knowledge by just talking to Bumrah.

Arshdeep said (as per the aforementioned source):

"Whenever you talk to Jassi bhai he will tell you how much he enjoys bowling in Test cricket. At the breakfast table, he would keep telling me that Arsh dhyan mein rakh tere ko teeno formats khelna hai (Keep it in your mind that you must play all three formats). He says when you do well in the Test cricket, people remember you and rate you more highly. Whenever we talk, he shares his input on bowling with the red ball."

Arshdeep concluded by saying how Jasprit Bumrah has made him understand the ups and downs of red-ball cricket and that he would love to share the new ball with the 30-year-old in the longest format.
