"He comes up to me quite a lot and asks me, 'What do you think I should do?'" - Jasprit Bumrah on his conversation with Akash Deep
Ace Team India speedster Jasprit Bumrah recently spoke about his conversation with young fast bowler Akash Deep who recently came into the Test side. The comments came after the second Test between India and Bangladesh at Green Park in Kanpur.
Bumrah and Akash have bowled well in partnerships throughout the series. The former has also helped Akash with his wisdom whenever the youngster needed.
Speaking to host broadcasters after the match, Bumrah lavished praise on the Bengal seamer and spoke about their interesting conversations.
"He (Akash Deep) comes up to me quite a lot before a spell and asks me what is happening and what should I do, we have had a lot of interesting conversations, the energy he brings on the ball, he gives his best on the field and when he's bowling, he has got a lot of heart and that is a good sign for us going forward. Hopefully he goes from strength to strength," Bumrah said.
Jasprit Bumrah emerged as the highest wicket-taker in the series with 11 scalps, while Akash Deep finished with five wickets in four innings.

He is deservedly called the 'magician' to which he responded recently, saying:
"It feels really good. I don't think about all those adjectives (being called a magician)."
