"He would still want to work a bit on his strike rate"- Harbhajan Singh on Virat Kohli ahead of MI vs RCB

Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh feels Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star batter Virat Kohli might be keen to make sure he bats at a high strike rate against the Mumbai Indians (MI) on Tuesday.

Kohli's strike rate has been under scrutiny in some of the innings he played this IPL, including the one in his last game where he scored 55 runs off 46 balls. Harbhajan feels that the former RCB skipper will want to perhaps consider scoring quicker to beat a team like MI.

In a video on his YouTube channel, Harbhajan Singh explained the importance of quick runs in the powerplay and the middle overs from Virat Kohli and said:

"Virat Kohli is in fantastic form with more than 400 runs already this season. However, he would still want to work a bit on his strike rate as the goal is to take RCB ahead in the next stage."

Suryakumar Yadav is capable of winning the game single-handedly: Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan Singh has been highly impressed with the way Suryakumar Yadav (SKY) has performed for the Mumbai Indians so far this season. He played a crucial rule in at least three of their five victories so far with the bat and Harbhajan feels RCB need to keep him at bay or else he could take the game away from them.

On this, Harbhajan stated:

"Surya (SKY) has shone brightly so far this tournament and has left a massive impact. If he fires against RCB, he is capable of winning the game single-handedly."

Mumbai Indians have a pretty poor net run rate and even the Royal Challengers Bangalore are in the negative in that aspect. Thus, a loss for either team could put a massive dent to their hopes of qualification for the playoffs. This has risen the stakes of the MI vs RCB encounter even higher.
