Reacting to the same ahead of Day 3 of the ongoing fourth Test at Melbourne, India's premier fast bowler told 7Cricket:

"Social Media is her game, she's really good at it, she helps me quite a lot. But I was not aware of what she had posted as I try to keep a blind eye when I am playing. But I asked her and didn't have a lot of answers to what she meant. But it is funny because she's very good at it and she loves banter so it's always good."

He also talked about their baby boy Angad learning to walk on the Australian tour.

"Going good (on his sleep) . He started walking on this tour a month ago. It's been great, we've been going around quite a lot. We've done a lot of animal experiences taking him out whenever I've time," said Bumrah.

Bumrah and Sanjana married each other in March 2021, with Angad being born in September 2023.

Jasprit Bumrah acknowledged the challenges of bowling to Australian great Steve Smith, thanks to his unorthodox batting style. After a slow start to the series, Smith has returned to form with centuries in the Brisbane and ongoing Melbourne Test.

"He's always been a challenge because he's unorthodox, a bit like me when I bowl. He's not a conventional batter , some days he's shuffling, some days he's not. So it brings out a new challenge, obviously he scores in different areas of the ground so you've to be very consistent and bowl good balls every ball," said Bumrah via the aforementioned source.

He added:

"It's always been a challenge, I've always had good battles with him in all formats, having played against him for a long period of time. One of the greats of the game and in this format he's difficult to bowl to. He played a great innings."

Smith equaled several legends such as Sunil Gavaskar, Brian Lara and Mahela Jayawardene with his 34th Test century, moving him to seventh on the all-time list of batters with the most Test centuries.

Meanwhile, the ace speedster has been the star bowler in the series, leading the way with 25 wickets at an average of 13.12 in seven innings.
