Here's what is at stake for the four semi-finalists
All four teams have enjoyed different paths to reach the 2024 T20 World Cup semi-finals and will have different stakes on offer.
While Team India and England have already won the T20 World Cup, South Africa and Afghanistan have never made the final of an ICC World Cup. The Men in Blue will be gunning for their second T20 World Cup title after triumphing in the inaugural edition in 2007.
It will also be their first ICC title in over a decade, with the last coming at the 2013 Champions Trophy. For England, a title will make it two in a row and third overall at the T20 World Cups after their victories in 2010 and 2022.
Should South Africa or Afghanistan triumph, it will be their first-ever World Cup title across formats. Entering the final four, India and South Africa have been unbeaten thus far in the tournament, while England and Afghanistan have lost two games each during their path to the knockouts.
England won their first-ever T20 World Cup in the West Indies during the 2010 edition. The grand finale will be played in Barbados on Saturday, June 29.
