[In Picture] GT’s ₹8.5 crore retainer thanks BCCI & Gujarat Titans after undergoing surgery during BGT 2024-25

Team India and Gujarat Titans (GT) batter Sai Sudharsan has expressed his sincere thanks to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and his IPL franchise after successfully undergoing surgery. Sudharsan posted an update on the same after his procedure was completed.

Sai Sudharsan was named the vice-captain of Tamil Nadu and last featured in their B encounter against Tripura in Indore. He managed to score nine runs off nine deliveries as Tamil Nadu won the match by 43 runs.

That was the last appearance for him as the Gujarat Titans batter suffered an injury and was ruled out for the rest of the tournament. Tamil Nadu finished fifth in Group B and crashed out of the group stages, failing to make it to the knockouts.

Following that, Sudharsan went under the knife and posted an update on his social media accounts, thanking BCCI and Gujarat Titans for providing him with assistance during this period. He posted an image on X with the following caption:

"Will be back stronger in no time 💪 A big thank you to the medical team and BCCI for their efforts and support. Thank you, Titans family, for your love and support 🦋"
