The two teams also enjoy a fierce rivalry, popularly known as El Classico. They have met each other 33 times in the tournament's history, with CSK winning 21 times. Bengaluru have 11 victories under their belt, while one match yielded no result.
Moreover, the Super Kings have five titles to their name while the Royal Challengers are yet to win a trophy despite making it to the finals several times.
How has Virat Kohli fared in the T20 World Cup 2024?
The former Indian skipper landed in the USA on the back of a spectacular IPL 2024 campaign for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He finished as the highest scorer with 741 runs in 15 games at an average of 61.75 and a strike rate of almost 155.
However, Virat Kohli lost the touch upon landing in the United States. He has aggregated only five runs in three games so far. The right-handed batter bagged a golden duck during their clash against co-hosts USA.
