Anushka Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh were in attendance during the high-octane clash between India and Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. They were at the stadium to cheer for India and their husbands, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who were in action.

After being asked to bat first, Pakistan got all out for 191 in 42.5 overs. The Indian bowlers put on a sensational combined effort as five bowlers - Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, and Hardik Pandya - picked up two wickets each. Babar Azam (50) and Mohammad Rizwan (49) were the top scorers for Pakistan in the batting department.

Anushka Sharma and Ritika Sajdeh cheered on enthusiastically from the stands. They were elated after India took the last wicket and wrapped up Pakistan for a below-par total.

I knew where to bowl and it was a difficult wicket to bowl on: Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav after the first innings against Pakistan

Team India's left-arm leg-spinner Kuldeep Yadav opened up that the surface was a bit slow, but he gaged it and found ideal length to bowl. Speaking at mid-innings break, Kuldeep reflected on his spell and said:

"I knew where to bowl and it was a difficult wicket to bowl on. It was on the slower side. I was just focussing on the length and trying to keep it wicket-to-wicket, varying my pace and bowling my variations.
"I was bowling really well, not giving them too much width. Rizwan did not sweep me at all, so I tried to keep it wicket-to-wicket and wanted him to play a bad shot."

On his thought process while bowling, Kuldeep further added:

"I tried to keep it straight, with wrong'uns and flippers. That was a good ball. I thought he did not read it (Ifthikar Ahmed). He probably thought it would come slow but it skidded through. (On the crowd) The atmosphere was crazy. It was unbelievable."
