Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana's rumored boyfriend Palash Muchhal shared a heartwarming message on the former's birthday. The Indian vice-captain turned 28 on Thursday, July 18, with fans and the cricket fraternity extending wishes to her.
Since making her debut in 2013, Mandhana has been the Indian team's go-to player. The Indian opener has represented the nation in seven Tests, 85 ODIs, and 136 T20Is. Mandha has scored over 7,500 international runs, with 54 fifties and nine centuries to her name.
Palash Muchhal, a music composer and singer, well known for his work in Bollywood movies "Dishkiyaoon" and "Sweetiee Weds NRI," posted an adorable message for Mandhana on Instagram.
“Happiest birthday my beautiful girl! You mean everything to me and I can't imagine my life without you ❤️@smriti_mandhana🧿,” the singer wrote in the caption of the post.

Rumors have it that Muchhal and Mandhana have been dating for a long time. The musician shared a picture of the two cutting a cake on July 7. He captioned the post:

Smriti reacted to the post with three hearts. Palash Muchhal's sister Palak Muchhal also commented on the picture, “My cuties.”
India Women will face Pakistan Women in their opening game of the Asia Cup 2024
The defending champions, India Women, will face Pakistan Women in the first game of the 2024 Women’s Asia Cup on Friday, July 19. Team India is in Group A. After facing Pakistan, they will square off against the UAE on Sunday, July 21. They will clash with Neapl on Tuesday, July 23, in their last group-stage match.
While talking to Star Sports, captain Harmanpreet Kaur had this to say about the game with Pakistan (via Hindustan Times):
"When you play against Pakistan, there is a different atmosphere in both the countries. Both the countries want their team to win. As a player, there is a lot of pressure for us. But as a leader, it is my responsibility to make my team feel light in that environment, so that they don't think that we are playing against Pakistan or it's a pressure game."
The game will start at 7 p.m. IST on Friday, July 19.
