[In Pictures] India's T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav gets a new makeover from Aalim Hakim
Team India T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav recently got a fresh makeover from celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim. The star cricketer posted a few pictures from his haircut session alongside Hakim.
Suryakumar was recently appointed as India's captain after Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from T20Is following the victorious 2024 T20 World Cup campaign. In his first series as full-time captain, the Men in Blue inflicted a 3-0 whitewash over Sri Lanka.
However, he was left out of the ODI side, with the selectors favoring the likes of Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, and Riyan Parag in the middle order.
Suryakumar has used the break to get a new makeover from one of the best hairstylists in Mumbai, Aalim Hakim. He looked dapper in the new look, and the black stylish sunglass complemented his overall attire well.
The cricketer posted a few pictures with the caption:
"फ्रेश 💇🏻 (Fresh)."
Suryakumar Yadav had a good debut as India's full-time T20I skipper. He scored an excellent half-century in the first game and backed it with a well-compiled 26 in the next. However, his best performance came in the final game of the series where he defended six runs in the last over to take the game into a Super Over.
Washington Sundar bowled exceedingly well in the Super Over to concede only two runs. Suryakumar needed only one ball to cross the line, hitting Maheesh Theekshana for a boundary to take India home.
When will Suryakumar Yadav be in action next for Team India in T20Is?
India will lock horns with Bangladesh in their next T20 assignment. The two teams will square off in a three-match affair, which will get underway on October 6 in Dharamsala.
The second T20I will be played on October 9 in Delhi followed by the final game on October 12 in Hyderabad.
Suryakumar Yadav will lead the side in the three-match series and will hope to keep India's T20 juggernaut going.
