[In Pictures] Suryakumar Yadav’s wife Devisha shares adorable post with her husband

Suryakumar Yadav’s wife Devisha Shetty shared a few adorable pictures with her husband on social media on Saturday, November 16. This came a day after India captain Yadav completed a hat-trick of T20 series wins, including identical 2-1 victories over Sri Lanka (away) and Bangladesh (home), and their recent 3-1 win in South Africa.

Devisha often shares heartwarming photos with Suryakumar on social media. The couple had first met in 2010 during a college program and tied the knot on July 7, 2016.

Sharing the photos on Instagram, Devisha captioned the post:

“Felt Cute.”

Earlier this year, Devisha shared a special Instagram story after Suryakumar Yadav replaced Rohit Sharma, who retired from the shortest format, as India's new T20I captain. She wrote:

“When you started playing for India, we never imagined this day would come! But god is great and everyone gets the reward of (for) their hard work and diligence in due time. So proud of you and how far you've come but this is just the beginning of your legacy. Long way to go.”

“It's very difficult for me to choose one” – Suryakumar Yadav lauds Sanju Samson, Tilak Varma, and Abhishek Sharma’s carnage in 4th T20I

Suryakumar Yadav reserved special praise for Sanju Samson, Tilak Varma, and Abhishek Sharma for their aggressive brand of cricket in the fourth T20I. He said in the post-match show (via Cricbuzz):

“It's very difficult for me to choose one good knock from them, it was amazing batting skills displayed by them. We spoke about that and they literally walked the talk.”

Yadav also commended his bowlers for their exploits with the ball in South Africa. He said:

“When we toured last year, we knew there was something in this wicket once the lights were on and the temperature dropped. We just followed that, stuck to our lines and the result was right in front of us.”

This is the fourth consecutive series win for India in T20Is. They also won 4-1 against Zimbabwe soon after the 2024 T20 World Cup. On their winning spree, Yadav added:

“It gives a big boost if you are winning any ICC tournament, winning from where we won. It was difficult to sum up what goes through our minds when we won there. It is very challenging when we tour South Africa, to come and win here, this is a special win and will stay with me forever."

Team India will next play a T20I series against England in January 2025.
