Shubman Gill starred with the bat for India against Bangladesh in the opening Test at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Day 3 (Saturday, September 21). The right-handed batter bounced back strongly after departing for a duck in the first innings. Gill scored an unbeaten 119 runs off 176 balls with the help of four sixes and 10 boundaries.
This was Gill's fifth Test ton in his 27th Test, third at the No. 3 spot. He scored two centuries against England during the five-match Test series earlier this year.
