IND vs PAK: India and Pakistan's last match scorecard in Women's T20 World Cup 2024
India will take on Pakistan in their next Women’s T20 World Cup game in Dubai on Sunday, October 6. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side would be keen to return to winning ways after losing to New Zealand in their opening game of the ICC event. On the other hand, Pakistan would look to continue their winning run after beating Sri Lanka in their first game.
The two teams have locked horns seven times in head-to-head clashes. The Women in Blue enjoy a 5-2 record against Pakistan. India beat the Women in Green by seven wickets during their last faceoff in the 2023 Women's T20 World Cup.
Batting first, Pakistan posted 149/4 in their allotted 20 overs. Bismah Maroof top scored with 68 off 55 balls, including seven boundaries. Ayesha Naseem also chipped in with an unbeaten 43 off 25 deliveries. Radha Yadav was the pick of the Indian bowlers, with two wickets, while Deepti Sharma and Pooja Vastrakar bagged one each.
In response, India achieved the target with an over to spare. Jemimah Rodrigues top scored with an unbeaten 53 off 38 with the aid of eight boundaries. Shafali Verma and Richa Ghosh also chipped in with 33 (25) and 31 (20), respectively. Nashra Sandhu picked up two wickets for Pakistan, while Sadia Iqbal bagged one.
Pakistan’s scorecard from their last 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup game
An all-round performance from captain Fatima Sana helped Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 31 runs in their last Women’s T20 World Cup game in Sharjah on Thursday, October 3.
Batting first, the Women in Green posted 116 in their allotted 20 overs. Skipper Fatima Sana top scored with 30 runs off 20 balls, including one six and three boundaries. Nida Dar also chipped in with 23 off 22 deliveries.
Udeshika Prabodhani, Sugandika Kumari and skipper Chamari Athapaththu picked up three wickets apiece for Sri Lanka.
In response, the Islanders managed 85-9 in 20 overs. Nilakshi de Silva and Vishmi Gunaratne scored 22 (25) and 20 (34), respectively, but failed to take the team over the line. Sadia Iqbal starred with the ball, picking up three wickets, while captain Fatima Sana, Omaima Sohail and Nashra Sandhu bagged two wickets each.

India’s scorecard from their last 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup match
India lost to New Zealand by 58 runs in their last Women’s T20 World Cup match on Friday, October 4.
Opting to bat first, the White Ferns put up 160-4 in their allotted 20 overs. Skipper Sophie Devine led by example, scoring an unbeaten 57 off 36, a knock laced with seven boundaries. Georgia Plimmer and Suzie Bates also chipped in with scores of 34 (23) and 27 (24), respectively. Renuka Singh emerged as the leading wicket-taker for India, picking up two scalps. Arundhati Reddy and Asha Sobhana also bagged one wicket apiece.
In response, the Women in Blue were bundled out for 102 in 19 overs. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur was the leading run-scorer with 15 off 14 balls. Rosemary Mair was the leading wicket-taker, finishing with figures of 4/19. Lea Tahuhu and Eden Carson also bagged three and two wickets, respectively.
